Welcome to ResNet!

ResNet Central provides Student Network support to all students in addition to many other services.  We are here to help you with technical questions, data (computer), video (cable TV), and  voice (telephone) network support. We help you connect your personal computer and gaming equipment to the student network. If you are a WCU student and you need assistance, use our Trax Helpdesk Support System to request service.  It's the best way to get help!

 

ResNet Student Network

ResNet provides wired network connections in all residence halls. Typically, if your network address is not hard coded for your machine, you will be able to simply plug your PC into a port. However in order to fully access the network, you must follow the steps as outlined on the Network Access System page. This can be done from your own room.

Connecting Game Consoles

In order to use your X-Box console you will need to fill a short registration form. If you don't register your game console, your system may be unstable or not work at all with some games.

Our Location

We are located in the Smart Start Center which is on the ground floor of Ramsey Hall. As you can see from the map, we are to the right of Lawrence Hall as you face the main entrance.
